Introducing Minghua Li

My three year old son and me

Hi, Everyone! My name is Minghua Li and I am an assistant professor of Economics. I was born in China and came to the U.S. in 2000. I arrived at Franklin Pierce College last year. Before coming to Pierce, I taught economics at University of New Hampshire as a lecture when I was working on my degree.

As a new teacher, I am constantly learning and exploring how I can make my teaching more effective and the use of my time more efficient. I believe technology can play a big role. So I look forward to learning from this workshop as well as from all my colleagues who I believe are experienced and dedicated to excellent teaching.

Thank you for joining this learning experience. I enjoyed the photograph. I am coming from the land of the adjunct faculty and believe that technology is one of the tools that can bind the successful learning experience of our students and us.

Hi Minghua, are you ready for writing in economics? I think this workshop will be helpful in the micro course as I would like to increase the quality and quantity of writing.
